Designed by architect Lluís Escarmís, from GCA associates, the Project has aimed at:
· Landscape integration by burying most of the building.
· Taking advantage of the terrain slope so that the wine flow in the cellar is more gentle and less aggressive with the product, minimizing the use of pumps.
· By burying the fermentation and ageing rooms we have facilitated thermal isolation and minimized electricity consumption.
· Using an austere and sober architecture in a space that invites to reflection and enjoyment of a wonderful human produce.
· Including an area with rooms for exclusive use of our customers and friends who want to enjoy the experience of living in situ how a cellar works and exploring a charming region such as Priorat.
